METRO LAUNCHES FREE ELECTRONIC EDITION

On Monday 4th August Metro, the UK’s fourth largest national newspaper, launches e-Metro, an electronic version of the free daily newspaper.

e-Metro will give readers a chance to get their hands on the newspaper if they were unable to pick up a hard copy that morning.  e-Metro is another exciting addition to Metro’s growing digital portfolio, sitting alongside Metro.co.uk, MEview and MEmusic.

Each morning subscribers to e-Metro will be sent an email inviting them to view the day’s edition of Metro.  Readers will be able to select their viewing preferences and share, at the click of a button, the day’s e-Metro with friends and colleagues.

The convenient user-friendly publishing system, provided by YUDU Media, also allows users to view online instantly print, zoom and search for text, bookmark relevant pages and save a digital version of the newspaper to their computer for offline reading.

Monday’s edition of Metro will introduce e-Metro to readers and introductory newsletters will be emailed to Metro’s database.
