The 1926-27 set of three U.S. Map Air Mail stamps were widely used on air mail to Latin America as the nation sought to link itself with Central and South America as well as far flung possessions in the Pacific. This report examines the establishment of routes and air postage rates to Latin America & Pacific possessions in the pre-war years.
